Dig and Survive Map: Mining Town Layout and Confirmed Areas

What is actually documented about the Dig and Survive map: the isolated mining town setting, the spawn point, and what has not been confirmed about the town's internal layout.

The map is one mining town — not a map-selection system

Dig and Survive takes place in a single, isolated mining town, where something has caused the dead to rise. Players fight enemies, dig for Scrap, and uncover what is going on, with survival growing harder as new threats and bosses appear the further you go. Nothing in the game's documentation establishes multiple selectable maps, a map-selection menu, or named regions beyond this town — so treat any claim of "all maps" as unconfirmed until you see it in-game.

The one confirmed reference point: the spawn area

The single directly documented location is the spawn: when you launch Dig and Survive on Roblox, your character spawns in the mining town. That spawn is your reliable anchor for orientation. The town itself is overrun by the undead, and the confirmed rhythm of play is daytime scrap runs funding nighttime defenses against waves of zombies — meaning the spawn area sits at the center of a loop between digging by day and defending at night.

What is confirmed versus unconfirmed

Confirmed by the game's own materials and coverage:

  • The setting is an isolated mining town.
  • Your character spawns in that town on launch.
  • The town is zombie-overrun, structured around day/night survival.

Not confirmed anywhere: internal street layout, named districts or buildings, coordinates, or documented routes connecting specific landmarks. This is different from proving those areas don't exist — the information simply hasn't been documented, and the town's layout may still be explorable in-game. Rather than trusting a map that invents names or positions, orient yourself from the spawn point and note landmarks yourself as you move through town.

Using the spawn as your navigation anchor

Since the spawn is the only verified location, build your own route around it:

  1. Drop into the town and immediately fix the spawn point relative to something visible nearby, so you can find your way back at night.
  2. Push outward in one direction during the day while digging Scrap, keeping the return path to spawn in mind before waves begin.
  3. Reorient from the spawn each cycle rather than trying to memorize an unverified "full map" — daytime scrap runs and nighttime defenses both loop through the town's core.

If a location update changes the town's layout or adds new areas, recheck your landmarks from the spawn before relying on old routes.
